Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 30, 2026
1. Who we are
The controller of your personal data is Adige Consulting LLC, a Utah limited liability company, which owns and operates TechAlpino ("TechAlpino", "we"). For any privacy question or request, write to info@techalpino.com.
2. What this policy covers
This policy covers personal data of visitors to techalpino.com, people who contact us or ask for a demo, and staff of our business clients (account and billing contacts). It does not cover guest data that hotels, restaurants and wineries process through our service. For that data, the business you contact is the controller and TechAlpino acts as its processor under a data processing agreement. Please read that business's own privacy notice.
3. What data we collect, why, and on what legal basis
| Data | Purpose | Legal basis (GDPR) |
|---|---|---|
| Your name, email address and anything you write when you email us | Replying to inquiries and arranging demos | Steps taken at your request before a contract (art. 6(1)(b)); our legitimate interest in answering business inquiries (art. 6(1)(f)) |
| Client account data: name, business email, role, settings | Providing, supporting and securing the service | Contract (art. 6(1)(b)); legitimate interest in security (art. 6(1)(f)) |
| Billing data: business name, billing contact, VAT details, invoices; card details are handled by our payment processor, not by us | Billing, tax and accounting | Contract (art. 6(1)(b)); legal obligation (art. 6(1)(c)) |
| Technical data processed by our hosting provider when you visit the site: IP address, browser and device information, requested pages, time of request | Delivering the website and protecting it against abuse | Legitimate interest in running a secure website (art. 6(1)(f)) |
This website has no contact form. If you contact us, you do so by email. We do not sell personal data, we do not use it for targeted advertising, and we do not make decisions about you based solely on automated processing that have legal or similarly significant effects.
4. Cookies and tracking
This website does not set any cookies of its own and does not use analytics, advertising or social media trackers. Our hosting and security provider, Cloudflare, may set strictly necessary security cookies (for example to tell humans from bots) when it detects suspicious traffic. Those cookies do not track you across sites and do not require consent.
5. Who we share data with
We use service providers that process personal data on our behalf and only on our instructions:
- Cloudflare: website hosting, security and email routing for techalpino.com; for clients of our Managed service, data storage in the European Union.
- Google: email inbox where messages sent to our addresses are received.
- Stripe: payment processing for client subscriptions.
- xAI: AI model provider for our Managed service only, used to draft replies to guest messages, under terms that do not allow your data to be used to train its models.
We may also share data with professional advisers and with authorities where the law requires it.
6. International transfers
TechAlpino is based in the United States and some providers process data outside the European Economic Area. For transfers of personal data from the EU, we rely on the EU US Data Privacy Framework where the recipient is certified, or on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses. You can ask for a copy of the relevant safeguards at info@techalpino.com.
7. How long we keep data
- Inquiries and demo requests that do not lead to a contract: up to 24 months after the last contact.
- Client account data: for the duration of the contract, then deleted within 30 days unless we must keep it for the reasons below.
- Billing and accounting records: as long as tax and accounting law requires (generally up to 10 years).
- Website technical and security logs: kept by our hosting provider for a short period, as needed for security and operation.
8. Your rights
If you are in the EU, the UK or Switzerland, you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or port your personal data, to object to processing based on legitimate interest or for direct marketing, and to withdraw any consent at any time. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority. In Italy this is the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (www.garanteprivacy.it).
If you are in the United States, depending on your state, you may have rights to know, access, correct or delete your personal data. We do not sell or share personal data for targeted advertising, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
To exercise any right, email info@techalpino.com. We reply within one month, and we may need to verify your identity.
9. Security
We use appropriate technical and organizational measures, including encryption in transit, access controls and multi factor authentication for administrative access.
10. Children
Our website and service are meant for businesses and are not directed to children under 16.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. We will publish the new version on this page with its date and notify clients by email of material changes.
